The French tasting spoon was designed so that chefs can sample soups or sauces without double dipping. With a spoon on each end and a reservoir down the middle, you can easily taste your food without having to contaminate the pot. Also, as the sauce runs down the reservoir, it has a chance to slightly cool. Handmade in Tennessee.
