About the Artist, Sara Tabbert:
Sara Tabbert is an artist from Fairbanks, Alaska. With an MFA in printmaking, her love of woodblock printing has led to the creation of carved and painted panels and other work in wood. Tabbert’s large scale public installations are found throughout Alaska, and she has been a frequent artist in residence through the National Park Service. In addition to her own studio work, she currently teaches and manages a community print studio.
