About the Artist, Veronica Riley Martens:
"I create necklaces, bracelets, and rings using eco-friendly components such as tagua nuts, wood, horn, bone, recycled glass, and recycled paper. Tagua nuts, which is my primary medium, are sustainably harvested from the rainforests in Colombia. The use of these nuts helps to save the rainforests by utilizing a natural by-product of the trees. I have a background in interior design and enjoy mixing colors and textures together." - From the Artist
