Artist Statement
I was honored to have been asked to work on a piece that Phil had started. But it is daunting to try to finish another's work. Liking Phil and Barbara helped but also upped the ante. It was fun doing the slog work of carving and sanding because it made me think about and thank both Phil and Barbara for the gift of time to reminisce.
