Artist Bio:
Melissa Engler is a wood-sculptor based in Asheville, North Carolina. She received an Associates degree in studio furniture at Haywood Community College and a BA in Sculpture from UNC-Asheville. She is influenced by both her practical and artistic training to create pieces that honor the craft of woodworking while incorporating color, texture, pattern, and story-telling. Her work is a quiet prayer for the protection of the natural world.
