Desert Designs

These scarves were hand woven by Ahmed, his wife and brother - a family living in the Nubian region of Southern Egypt. Today, the Nubian people have been dispersed between Egypt and the Sudan. If ever visiting Egypt, be sure to stop by and say hi to Ahmed at the Nubian Village, on Elephantine Island, Aswan. 

Each scarf has been individually hand-made, with Egyptian Cotton & Linen.
