Field Notes are durable, flexible and small, designed to withstand any pant pocket. They are bound with a three-staple saddle-stitch process. Inside the front cover, you can write in your contact information, and the inside back cover lists "practical" applications for the memo books. The Field Notes story and further specifications are also presented.
The Memo Book '50' features 3 48 page note books printed with Finch Paper Opaque Smooth 60#T “Bright White,” and a fine, 1-color application of “New Friends Silver” soy-based Toyo ink.
The book is bound with a Heidelberg Stitchmaster ST 270 5-pocket saddle stitcher with cover feeder/scorer and Rima RS 10S in-line stacker at Lake County Press, Waukegan, Ill. Corners precisely rounded to a 3/8" (9.5mm) radius and a the graph grid has dimensions of 3/16" × 3/16" (4.7mm × 4.7mm)
