From the Artist:
Classic woodworking can be achieved with experience and attention to detail. These unique spoons and spatulas have been handcrafted for your cooking enjoyment. The design inspiration comes from William Coperthwaite’s book A handmade Life. The design is similar to the one pictured in the book, but made in my own style. Fit so nicely in the hand and is well balanced. Handcrafted from sustainable domestic hardwood, each gift set has been skillfully hand shaped to showcase the pictured design from the book. Isn't it time to treat yourself to finely crafted kitchenware? Every set has been carefully made in my small home-based woodworking studio on the coast of Maine. Because of my unique techniques and process, each gift set is truly one-of-a-kind with variations in wood color, and grain pattern from one piece to the next. My small artisans mark of authenticity is hand engraved on the underside of each handle.
Have your gift set made from your choice of domestic hardwoods like: cherry, walnut, or maple. Each set is finely sanded to a satin smooth surface and finished with a durable food safe salad bowl oil.
Approximately 12 inches long with a 2-1/2 inch wide bowl. The spatula measures 12 inches long with a sharp 2-1/2 inch serving blade.
