These Earrings are hand-crafted from 2,000-year-old Bogwood. Bogwood is an ancient, preserved wood that was submerged under water for hundreds of years prior to the artist crafting it into unique jewelry. The bog conditions turn the wood a beautiful darkened color as the result of a chemical reaction that occurs over time. After this reaction, the wood was then hand carved into is a stunning set of earrings with a light weight sensation and stone-like appearance.
Made with Bogwood, Sterling Silver or Gold plated wire and assorted beads.

About the Artist, Alan Adler:
Alan Adler is the founder of Source Packaging and Cases by Source dedicated to producing custom packaging for industry. He took up wood turning in 2009. He has received awards at regional competitions and international recognition from peers from “The World of Wood Turners.”
